Butter London

Spring is around the corner and so are brilliantly-painted nails. I love the 3Free line from Butter London, which derives its name from the fact that their lacquers are free of Formaldehyde, toluene, and DBP - chemicals that should not be coming into contact with our skin. I'm liking their Matte Finish top coat and Teddy Boy nail color.

Silk, Silk, Silk

Today I got to visit one of my favorite boutiques: Zou Zou Boutique in Orlando, FL. On my trip back home (Orlando) I decided to stop in and see what new items they have. Wonderful pieces from Parker, Yumi Kim, and Ella Moss filled the racks. I felt energized and inspired upon entering this fashion-lover's haven and realized once again how much I really do love unique design. Some pieces that really caught my eye were rich jewel-tone silks with lace embellishments, and gorgeous silk prints in classic silhouettes.

For The Love of Baking

So, I've been really into baking for some reason lately. Cakes, muffins, cupcakes...and my twice-failed angel food cake made with Splenda. I have yet to get it to rise all the way and have been left with short cake.  Trying to be good with my sugar intake, I've been using Splenda instead of sugar but, after reading up a bit, it is the culprit for not allowing my cake to rise!
